Research Summary
We develop and apply advanced immune-profiling technologies to define mechanisms of severe and enigmatic immune-mediated disease, with a particular focus on children.
I am a pediatric critical care physician-scientist studying severe and enigmatic immune-mediated disease, with a particular focus on disorders of childhood. My laboratory develops and applies advanced technologies in immune profiling, antibody and antigen discovery, single-cell genomics and pathogen detection to uncover the mechanisms underlying autoimmunity, hyperinflammation and post-infectious disease. Our goal is to translate these discoveries into antigen-defined diagnostics, biomarkers of disease and response, and more precise, mechanism-directed therapies.
