Our laboratory research lies at the intersection of the vascular and hematopoietic systems. We aim to understand cell fate and identity changes during embryonic development by investigating the endothelial to hematopoietic fate transition in hemogenic endothelium. We also study vascular regulation in the context of various clinical pathologies that may have developmental origins.
